The Phoenix Chapter in Derbyshire has sponsored the reflection area in the Beaurepaire Garden in Belper. Friendcraft members from the UK, USA and Japan gathered at the garden in July to celebrate the dedication of the Friendcraft reflection area. This area provides a serene and comfortable setting to chat with a friend or to just enjoy the beauty of the garden.

The Friendcraft Eagle Chapter in the Northern Virginia area hosted Friendcraft Day Spring 2007 on May 12. Members and friends gathered at a local clubhouse for a day of discussions and friendship. Paul Barrass, founder and director from the UK, led a workshop and discussion on The Lost World of Community. After the afternoon program, a delicious dinner was provided by local Friencraft members.
Eagle Chapter is also sponsoring Friendcraft Day Fall 2007. The day's activites will be held in Fairfax, Virginia, and will be open to the public free of charge. Paul Barrass will be flying in from the UK for this special event and will be presenting the Friendcraft Life Journey Workshop for the first time in the USA.
News from Japan
Paul Barrass's book Amazing Friendships: How to make and keep good friends the Friendcraft Way is being translated into Japanese. Hiroko Ohkawa, Friendcraft director in the Tokyo area, has undertaken the translating project. The Japanese edition will be the first non-English version of the Paul's book and is expected to form the basis of local Friendcraft discussion groups in Japan.
